What We Believe

"Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature..." - II Peter 1:4

God is the creator of heaven and earth and of all living creatures on earth and in heaven. God has revealed Himself in the Trinity; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit; three persons but one almighty and righteous God.
Jesus Christ is God, was born of a virgin, died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice, rose bodily, ascended to heaven at the right hand of the Father and will bodily return again to judge the world and set up the Kingdom of God forever.
We believe that salvation is by grace, through faith and is the gift of God. Those truly saved are eternally secure by the power of God.
The Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, we verbally inspired by the Holy Spirit in the scriptures as orginally given - preserved in the KJV - and is the inerrant and authoritative Word of God.
The local church is God's ordained institution to carry out the Great Commission. Local churches are composed of those who have been saved and subsequently baptized by immersion.
We believe in the Premillennial Second Coming of the Lord, in the bodily resurrection of the righteous dead at His coming, in the endless Heaven for all the redeemed and an endless punishment for the lost.
